Balance Living Center is pleased to offer the following Mindfulness Meditation workshops, taught by an amazing collection of instructors. Each workshop focuses on a specific topic and how mindfulness meditation can influence it. The workshops being offered will be taught by a different instructor(s) and the courses can be taken as an independent session or as a series (any combination) however registration and payment is directly with the individual instructor(s). If you have any questions, please reach out directly to the specific instructor(s) of the course you are interested in.
We all hear the phrase "back to normal" with regularity nowadays. The reality is we can't go back; we can only move forward. With the support of mindful meditation practices, we can learn to move forward with intention.

Mindfulness is showing up everywhere...in hospitals, sports, jails, and, yes, even in schools. Are you a little bit curious about mindfulness, but don’t know where to start? It’s time to build your nest! This 3 part workshop will help you understand the basics of both the science behind and the practice of mindfulness. You should leave these workshops with tangible, quick and simple techniques that can be used at home by you AND in the classroom with your students. There is really no “wrong” way to do this. You are invited to explore loving kindness through formal practice as well as more playful and informal exercises. Each workshop will build on these skills.
#2 Compassion for something that is causing stress/pain, building on practice of loving kindness toward self and that thing. (Include a positive thing)
