This program is a mindfulness-based, academically-aligned and student-centered learning opportunity for middle schoolers to learn practices that help manage stress and work towards closing the academic gap caused by COVID-19.
Our Academic Director will be in contact with your student’s teacher(s), at your discretion, so that the learning is both personalized and appropriately designed. Students will feel both educationally and emotionally supported. Our Mindfulness Director holds a 24-year history in education and has successfully developed and implemented a brain-based, mindfulness program within the Webster Central School District and beyond.

When you have a student registered in the Balanced Learning Center you will receive weekly guided meditations for yourself and your family from Erica Ebert, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Level II teacher through Brown University.

The Balanced Learning Center values education and is dedicated to creating an equitable learning environment for our learners. Because of this commitment to our community we will set aside a portion of the tuition we receive. These funds will be used for students that would otherwise not be able to experience the educational and emotional support we provide.
