This is a 4-day, 21-hour foundational course:
• 5/31 & 6/1: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
• 6/2 & 6/3: 12pm – 5pm

This course counts as 21 CE Hours through Yoga Alliance (14 contact / 7 non-contact)
Breath, body awareness, purposeful listening and non-judgement are very clear connections between Yoga & Mindfulness. Integrating these strategies into your teaching is an art. Join Erica for an exploration that connects Mindfulness Strategies: Body Scan, Seated Meditation, RAIN, Loving Kindness with your teaching.
Additionally, learn how to weave Jon Kabat Zinn’s attitudes of Mindfulness: non-judging, patience, beginner’s mind, trust, non-striving, letting go, acceptance, gratitude and generosity into your messaging and physical practice. This foundational course is part of a Mindfulness Certification for Yoga Teachers.
It is being offered through Balance and will consist of the following:
• Two additional 14-hour weekends (same suggested donation, per weekend, as above)
• One 6-hour silent retreat (suggested donation of $75-$125)
• A commitment to a personal mindfulness practice
September 13 & 14: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
September 15 & 16: 12pm – 5pm
December 6 & 7: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
December 8 & 9: 12pm – 5pm
February 3, 2019: 12pm – 6pm
